We're Off

Yesterday was our 6 year anniversary, so we decided to go to Palm Springs for the week. We got up this morning at 4am (for the girls to eat), and proceeded to finish packing and get the house in some semblance of order and left around 10am (nothing is quick for us any more). We decided to take the trip in 2 legs and are staying in St George tonight. So far the girls are doing well. Every few hours we stopped to eat, get out of the car and stretch. Marc loved this mode of travel due to his frequent need to take breaks as well. Each stop took about 45 minutes, but we got through it OK. We were just happy that there were no melt downs. Tomorrow we have a longer drive, so hopefully everything continues happily.
