We spent the morning relaxing and participated in the poolside BBQ offered by the condo (Marc won a free plate at the orientation). We had a wonderful time, but have learned that it may be a bit too early for the girls to attempt Lake Powell. It is scorching hot, and we took the Pack 'N Play with us and set it up in the shade. They were fine as long as they were awake and playing, but when they were ready to go down for a nap, they wanted to be in their own beds. This is our own fault for swaddeling them, and now that is all they will sleep in. A swaddle would not do for the heat. When we got back to the room all of us took a long nap before going to the Palm Springs Street Fair. This fair is every Thursday from 6:00-10:00. The best thing about the fair is the people watching. There were lots of weirdos and gay guys with dogs. The girls got lots of attention as usual. We got dinner from a booth and also bought fudge, bread and a frozen banana. It was a nice thing to do, but a bit late for the girls. They had a rough evening after staying up 2 hours past their bed time. We are winding down here and will leave on Saturday. Tomorrow we plan on hanging out at the condo and getting our stuff together. We have had a really fun time and would recommend Palm Springs to anyone.
