We heard that the hike in Tahquize Canyon was very nice and it was something we should do. There are guided hikes offered throughout the day, and of course we went on the earliest one, 8:00. I wish there was a 6:00, it would have been much cooler. But it was nice and the guide was very informative about the native plants, history of the valley, and the native people. It was hot, but the girls were generally good and we enjoyed ourselves. The hike was 2 miles round trip to a waterfall and back. When we were done, we went straight to Jamba Juice.

It looks like it put them both to sleep at one point or another. Maybe you can take hikes around the canyon when they won't go down for naps! :)
