lishment. The fun started last night when Claire started acting crazy. She was crying inconsolably and would not go to sleep. She has been sleeping through the night, but last night she woke up every few hours screaming and woke Alice up. On top of that, the hotel room smelled like smoke and the AC was so loud that every time it came on, Marc and I woke up. We were planning on getting up early to get out of St George and try and get home as quickly as possible and even maybe make it to church at 1:00. When we got up at 5:30 to feed the girls, we were both so wasted from the night before that we collapsed back into bed for several more hours. We finally left around 10:30 and instead of getting in 2-3 hour stretches like we had previously, we were able to go for only 1-2 hours before Claire was so upset that we needed to stop and take her out of her seat. Both Marc and I were convinced that Claire had another ear infection because she was acting just like she had when she had the infection, and Tylenol helped her to feel better. So we stopped by the Instacare on the way home just to find out that she was fine. The doctor said she is most likely teething. She couldn't see any teeth yet, but many babies show signs of teething up to months before any teeth pop up. Joy, months of teething symptoms. We finally got home around 6:30 and are super tired. Best Mothers Day yet!

Oh the joys of motherhood!! Teething tablets and orajel definitely helped me out!! Good Luck - glad you were able to enjoy MOST of the vacation.
I'm glad you had such a wonderful first Mother's Day. And I'm REALLY glad that Claire doesn't have another ear infection...although, the teething will be a challenge in itself. Give the girls hugs & kisses for us! We miss them!
Happy Mother's Day! There's no such thing as a break on Mothers Day! Good luck!
