6 months old

The girls had their 6 month birthday yesterday. The Inmans came up and we had a small impromptu party complete with cake and presents. Sandy made them the Princess crowns.

Checking in

There hasn't been too much to report, so sorry about the lack of posts. Alice is doing OK, she got caught up on her vaccines on Monday, so she had a rough couple of days. Claire has forgotten how to sleep through the night and wakes Alice up with her crying. She also has decided that she LOVES cereal and frequently doesn't want milk, but will only have cereal. This does not however, mean that she eats any less frequently. She still eats every 2-3 hours. On the bright side, they are both very smiley and generally happy babies. Also, Alice rolled over for the first time a couple of days ago. I just wanted to let everyone know that we are alive and doing well.

About a week ago we took the girls to Target for their first non-mom photoshoot. It made me feel a bit better that the girl at Target really couldn't get them to smile either, but they turned out cute.

Reading

We have always read to the girls, but lately they have started acting interested in books. This book is 'The Wheels on the Bus' and has flaps and bright colors that they can't get enough of.
