We went to the Salt Lake Arts Festival today. The girls had fun at the arts and crafts area and enjoyed seeing the weirdos. I was really disappointed that many of our favorite vendors were not there and so we didn't buy anything. It was fun anyway.

No naps
Right after Caleb's wedding my mom sent me a video about how to tell if you should stop your toddler's naps. Basically, if naps are pushing bed time back, stop. This was a very recent problem for us with the girls not being ready for bed until 9 or 9:30, totally unacceptable. We decided to give it a go. We have gotten to the point that they are allowed to nap in the car and if they fall asleep at home, I set a timer for 15 minutes. This is has been amazing. I never thought my kids would be done with naps so young, but for my sanity I had to put an end to it. The best part is that I am free to do a day long activity with them without repercussions. There are days when they are crazy crabby at night and will sometimes fall asleep in funny places, but overall
I LOVE NO NAPS!
Fire Day
The canyon recently hosted the annual "Fire Day" at the first station. This is a time for residents to come and see the fire station, learn about home fire safety, and especially learn about wild fire safety. The girls love it and there is always food and fun things for kids to do.
MIA
I foolishly thought that graduating would lend me more free time. Why was I so foolish? With my increase in working hours and ever increasing demands from my kids, I just realized that it has been a month since my last blog post anywhere. I will try to get up to date, but I might miss something.
