Occationally we have a very welcome visitor come to our house. Syndey Walsh is a Mia Maid in our ward and a 'canyon neighbor.' (That is in quotes because a canyon neighbor is anyone within a 2 mile radius.) She gets off of the bus in front of our house and has two options: she can walk the mile home, or wait for 35 minutes for her younger sisters to get dropped and her mom to pick them up. The first time she came over, she was a little embarrassed, but it was basically a blizzard outside and she didn't want to brave the weather. Now, when she doesn't want to walk home, she hangs out at our house for a bit. We love it because she holds a baby and visits with me while Marc cleans, does dishes, throws in a load of laundry in, or whatever. It is amazing how great that 30 min is. She typically comes by once or twice a week.

That is pretty fun. I'm sure that anyone who is willing to hold a baby is welcome! Great!
