Words

The girls turned 16 months old this week. To commemorate the events we decided to compile a comprehensive list of all the words they know. They are constantly amazing us with their ever expanding vocabulary. One funny thing about twins is that when one learns a new word the other quickly catches on as well, so they stay on the same level. Even though they say a lot of words, they haven't figured how to string words together, I guess that is to come. The total number of words, as of today, is 76.

All done, Alice, Apple, Baby, Ball, Banana, Bath, Bear, Beep, Blocks, Bob, Book, Bubble, Bumbo, Chair, Cheerios, Cheese, Claire, Coat, Cold, Cookie, Cracker, Cup, Dad, Dance, Down, Duck, Eat, Eggs, Elbow, Elmo, Eye, Giraffe, Go, Grandma, Grandpa, Guck – Pacifier (Don’t ask where that came from, we don’t know), Happy, Hat, Hello, Jesus, Kick, Kitty, Lip, Milk, Mimi – Melanie, Mom, No, Papa – Marc’s Dad, Paper, Pillow, Pooh-as in Winnie the, Poop, Purple, Puzzle, Rara – Marc’s Mom, Red, Remote, Sausage, Shirt, Shoes, Snow, Sock, Spoon, Teeth, Thank you, Tickle, Toast, Tofu, Tree, Uh-Oh, Up, Walk, Watch, Water, Zipper

We went to the Zoo on Friday and walked into the Giraff den. Every time we said Giraff, Alice made the sign by raising her hand up next to her head. I guess that doesn't count.

I didn't put down the signs and/or animal noises they can say since they aren't technically words.
