This year I haven't had the energy for too much by way of Halloween so we didn't carve pumpkins until the day before Halloween.
That was also the night of our ward's Trunk-or-Treat so I used them for my trunk decoration. The trunk-or-treat was fun. We had an amazing turn out and a lot of fun. Claire went as Cinderella and Alice was WonderWoman. They went home with a terrific amount of candy. Unfortunately Marc was supposed to take pictures but forgot so nothing from that night.
Yesterday was Halloween and the weather was terrible. It was a downpour all day and we thought we would be staying in and not trick-or-treating. It was Thursday and so we had gymnastics in the morning. In the afternoon we attended our library's Halloween party. Claire went as Sleeping Beauty and Alice wanted to wear her cow costume from 2 years ago which amazingly still fits. The party was OK with some stories, games and food. We met some friends there so that was fun as well.

After the party we picked Marc up from school and started to head home when the weather started to break. We decided very last minute to go trick-or-treating anyway. There were a few sprinkles to contend with but overall it was really fun. We went down Lamar Ave and visited a few businesses and houses close to the square which is a very popular place to go here in Oxford.

When we got home I let the girls gorge themselves on candy and we watched
The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. It was a very fun Halloween.
