Today we went to visit Alice's Orthopod for her yearly visit. Lately our only concern has been that her feet seem very flat. To evaluate this they did a couple of X-Rays on her feet. The good news: we are officially done with the brace and her club feet are completely resolved. The bad news: fixing the club feet has unmasked her flat feet. According to her doctor, this is not uncommon with kids like Alice. There isn't much to do to tighten the ligament in the feet that cause flat feet, but he recommended starting her in gymnastics or dance to strengthen her feet muscles which can help a lot. So, if anyone knows of a good gymnastics or dance place in Salt Lake or Park City let me know.
