Utah State Fair

Neither Marc nor I had been to the State Fair for some time due to lack of interest. However, since the girls are really into animals (particularly farm ones) we decided to try the fair this year. The girls absolutely loved it. This year there was an exhibit for kids called "Little Hands on the Farm" where they could go through different farm chores.
Milking the cow

Cultivating the garden
Brushing the Sheep
Gathering Eggs
Riding a tractor
But the best part of all was the animals.
Petting the baby pigs
Alice was so adorable with the pigs, she just plopped herself down by the babies and petted them for a really long time. At one point a couple of middle-aged ladies came to peek in the pen and Alice felt the need to tell them "Baby Pigs." They thought that was so cute.

Claire petting a goat
Alice made particular friends with this goat who came right over and wanted attention
We spent a lot of time with the goats because Alice didn't want to leave.
This doesn't convey it well, but the girls are hopping like rabbits
The very weirdest thing about the fair is that no one was selling milk. We wanted to buy some for the girls and there was none to be had. In my opinion, when you are at a celebration of agriculture and agricultural products, you should be able to buy some basic things, like milk.
